Betting Rules
These Betting Rules explain how wagers are placed, accepted, settled and managed at Winmaker Casino. They should be read together with the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information. By placing a bet, you confirm that you understand and accept the rules that apply to the relevant product, event or game.
Winmaker Casino operates under three gaming licences: Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2023/176/0095, Comoros AOFA licence ALSI-202509073-FI2, and Tobique Gaming Commission licence no. 0000064.
1. General betting conditions
These rules apply to bets placed through the Winmaker Casino website or any other authorised betting channel made available to eligible customers. Additional rules may apply to a particular sport, market, promotion, casino game or betting product. If a specific rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule will normally apply to the relevant bet.
You must have an active account and be legally entitled to use the service in your location. Customers must provide accurate information during registration and keep account details up to date. We may request information to verify identity, age, location, account ownership or the source of funds. A bet may be refused, suspended or cancelled where required by law, regulation, security procedures or our account terms.
You are responsible for protecting your login details and for all activity carried out through your account unless you have promptly notified us of unauthorised access. Do not allow another person to use your account, and do not place bets on behalf of another person. One person may only use an account in accordance with the applicable account rules.
- You must meet all applicable age and location requirements before betting.
- You must read the rules shown for the relevant market or game before confirming a wager.
- You are responsible for checking the selection, stake, odds and potential return before placing a bet.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, collusion, manipulation or any other prohibited purpose.
- You should keep records of your bets, transactions and account communications.
Winmaker Casino may apply reasonable controls to protect customers, the platform and the integrity of betting. These controls may include account reviews, transaction checks, restrictions on access and the withholding or adjustment of bets where permitted under the applicable terms and law.
2. Placing and accepting bets
A bet is submitted when you select the relevant option, enter the stake and confirm the wager using the required process. A selection placed in a bet slip is not necessarily a completed bet. The bet is only accepted when it has been recorded on your account and a confirmation is displayed or otherwise made available.
Before confirmation, check every detail carefully. This includes the event or game, market, selection, odds or price, stake, bet type and any applicable conditions. If a bet is submitted more than once because of a technical issue, each accepted wager may be treated as a separate bet.
Displayed odds, prices, balances and potential returns may change before a wager is accepted. The odds or terms applying to an accepted bet are those recorded in the transaction history, subject to correction under these rules. If the service offers the opportunity to accept changed odds or terms, you will be given the relevant choice where reasonably possible.
When a bet may be rejected
We may reject a bet in whole or in part. Reasons may include a market being suspended, an event being cancelled, a technical or pricing error, account restrictions, suspected misuse, a stake exceeding an applicable control, or a failure to meet verification requirements. A rejection does not create a right to compensation for an anticipated win or opportunity.
You must not attempt to exploit errors, delays, outages or pricing irregularities. If you notice an apparent error, stop using the affected market and contact support through the available account channel. Bets that depend on a clear error may be reviewed and corrected or voided in accordance with the applicable rules.
- Select the event, game or market you wish to play.
- Review the displayed rules and add your selection to the bet slip.
- Enter the stake and check the complete bet details.
- Confirm the wager only when you are satisfied that the information is correct.
- Check your account history for the accepted bet and retain the confirmation.
3. Results, settlement and changes
Bets are settled using the official result or outcome applicable to the relevant event, game or market. The settlement method may depend on the published market rules, including whether a market is based on a final result, a defined period, a statistical measure or an in-game outcome. You should always review the specific rules displayed with the market before betting.
If an event is abandoned, postponed, interrupted, rescheduled or materially changed, the relevant market may be settled under its specific rules, carried forward where permitted, or declared void. A change to the date or time does not automatically produce the same result for every market. Different selections may be treated differently depending on how much of the event has taken place and the published conditions.
Where the official result is amended after initial settlement, Winmaker Casino may correct the settlement when the change is relevant and reasonably capable of verification. If a bet is settled incorrectly because of a technical, human or pricing error, the settlement may be corrected and the account balance adjusted accordingly, subject to applicable law.
A bet may be declared void where there is no valid outcome, the relevant market cannot be determined fairly, an event or game is not conducted as required, or the applicable rules provide for a void result. Unless a specific rule states otherwise, a void bet returns the stake and does not contribute to the outcome of a combined bet.
Sports and event markets
Sports and event bets may be affected by late information, official corrections, venue changes, player or participant changes and rule variations. The market rules may define how these situations are handled. Participants, teams and event names may be displayed using shortened or commonly recognised descriptions, and you should confirm the relevant event before placing a wager.
Casino and virtual outcomes
Casino, virtual and other automated games are settled according to the outcome generated and recorded by the relevant game system. The game instructions, paytable and displayed rules explain the available outcomes and any applicable features. If a game is interrupted, displays an error or does not record an outcome correctly, the transaction may be reviewed before a final settlement is made.
4. Cancellations, disputes and responsible betting
Once accepted, a bet generally cannot be changed or cancelled by the customer unless a specific feature or market rule permits it. If a cancellation option is offered, it may be subject to eligibility requirements, timing conditions, availability and the displayed confirmation. A request to cancel does not take effect until it has been accepted and recorded.
If you believe a bet has been recorded, settled or displayed incorrectly, review your account history first and raise the issue through the available support process. Include the relevant bet reference, date, market or game and a clear explanation. We may request further information so the matter can be investigated.
Disputes are reviewed using account records, transaction information, system logs, published rules and relevant official results. Our records will generally be treated as the most reliable record of whether a bet was accepted and how it was settled, unless you provide evidence of an error. We aim to assess complaints fairly and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Betting should be entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems or recover losses. Only wager money you can afford to lose, set a budget before you begin and take regular breaks. Do not chase losses, bet while distressed or borrow money to gamble. If betting stops being enjoyable or begins affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing, stop and seek independent support.
- Set personal spending and time limits before playing.
- Keep gambling separate from essential household expenses.
- Do not increase stakes to recover previous losses.
- Use available account safety tools, including deposit, wager, loss or session controls where offered.
- Consider taking a break or closing your account if you are finding it difficult to stay in control.
- Seek help from an appropriate Australian gambling support service if you are concerned about your betting.
These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, systems, legal requirements or operating procedures. The current version applies to bets placed after it takes effect. Keep a copy of the rules and any market-specific conditions that applied when you placed your bet.
